Chinese CCCMC and CSR Europe to cooperate on supply chain sustainability

The China Chamber of Commerce for Metals, Minerals and Chemical Importers (CCCMC) and CSR Europe have decided to cooperate on the sustainability supply chain in the raw materials sector.

This cooperation involves:

  • Sharing and exchanging information and experiences
  • Promoting engagement with respective members
  • Joint training and learning with respective members
  • Jointly developing or recognising shared tools on sustainability of supply chain management 

Natural Rubber

As a first project within this cooperation, a sustainable natural rubber value chain project will be launched end of September.

Mr. Chen Feng, Chairman of CCCMC declares: “As an international leading organisation in promoting responsible business, CSR Europe has a giant sustainable development network and professional capacity. The cooperation could combine the advantages of two parties and mean a great leap forward in the sustainable development of China and Europe.
