Leveraging the network by helping each other, boosting partnerships and sharing best practices was very much in focus at the last CSR Europe National Partner Organisations meeting.
This year on May 24, more than twenty CSR Europe National Partner Organisations (NPOs) met in Brussels to exchange and discuss common projects.
"Key challenges relating the implementation of the Agenda 2030 were identified," says Ester Barrajon, Account Manager at CSR Europe. "The need to boost partnership and collaboration between all the relevant stakeholders and leveraging the network through capacity building and sharing of best practices is essential."
Concrete steps have been decided to further leverage the CSR Europe network:
- Launch of pilot edition of an SDG Mentoring System for National Partners Organisations:
Twelve NPOs will be working together on the creation and implementation of an SDG Action Plan for their organisations. Some projects are in the process of implementation, which includes organising SDG Awards, setting up action plans, SDG webinars and workshops.
- Launch of 2nd edition of the Business and Human Rights local trainings:
More than 10 NPOs will be trained to initiate activities which incorporate Human Rights in day to day business operations for their members and CSR Europe members in these countries.
The next network meeting will take place on the 23rd/24th of October in Warsaw, hosted by Responsible Business Forum Poland.
