CSR Europe welcomes HNA Group to its network
CSR Europe is delighted to welcome HNA Group to its network.
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Haikou, Hainan (China), in the past 20 years, the Group has developed from a local aviation transportation operator to a conglomerate encompassing core divisions of aviation, hospitality, tourism, real estate, retail, finance, logistics, shipbuilding, entertainments and eco-tech.
Since its founding, HNA Group has put fulfilling corporate social responsibility as one of its business development strategies. It holds the corporate mission of “contributing toward the wellbeing of mankind and a peaceful world” and promotes social harmony with its actions.The Group sets green development as one of its key development strategies. Hainan Airlines, one of its affiliations, earned the Top Ten Green Actions of Chinese Enterprises Award and the green award for aviation companies.
In partnership with United Technologies and with the support of WTO Tribute China, HNA Group is working to launch the Green Aviation Initiative & Network (GAIN) program. GAIN will engage with a variety of aviation stakeholders - from the government, industry non-governmental organizations, communities and academia – to explore opportunities for collaboration and co-innovation.
