Cargill leading advance toward a more sustainable food system

Cargill has published its 2016 Annual Report.

Cargill’s financial and corporate responsibility performance is combined into one report for the first time this year, reflecting how the company operates its business to create results and lasting impact.

The report illustrates how 2016 has been a dynamic year inside Cargill and beyond. Long-term shifts in population, urbanisation and climate are reshaping global food and agriculture, even as disruptive forces are at work in the market today.

Cargill is leading the advance toward a more sustainable food system that nourishes people and protects the planet. Cargill admits that it has not yet achieved the consistent earnings growth across the company that it wants, but it has realised important results where there have been changes.

These efforts position Cargill well for a rapidly arriving future.
