BITCI launches sustainability report

As Ireland’s business network on sustainability and CSR, BITCI  strives to measure, report and communicate their impacts in line with best practice and beyond compliance with legislation and funder requirements.

On behalf of our Sustainability Committee Down to Earth, BITCI launches the 2017 Sustainability report, accounting for their activities and impacts during 2017. This report comprises Business in the Community Ireland and their sister organization, The Community Foundation for Ireland. This report provides a financial and non-financial account, focusing on our interactions with member companies, funders, staff, board, regulators, local communities and the environment.

Through this report we explain how we identify our most relevant (material) issues as they impact on our critical stakeholders and we measure our performance in a number of metrics that convert on KPIs in dimensions such as employee engagement and satisfaction, board diversity, member satisfaction with our services, GHG emissions and waste management.
