Workshop: Enhancement of engineering community competencies in sustainable development (Feb 29, 2016)



The EESD-SP interactive workshop ‘Enhancement of engineering community competencies in sustainable development’ will be held on February 29 and located at the Delegation of Spanish Council for Scientific Research – CSIC (Room II) from 13:30 to 17:00.

The workshop will be led by the colleagues of UPC Barcelona, and supported by colleagues from Belgium, Sweden and The Netherlands.

You can participate both online or in person in the following ways:

  • in Part 1 (13:30-15:00) via a GoToMeeting, organised from the meeting place, to facilitate the participation if you are not in Brussels;
  • in Part 2 (15:30-17:00) at the meeting place, in interaction with the people present.
  • or in both parts of the meeting.

The organisers look forward to welcoming in particular representatives from the business sector who could share knowledge about the expectations towards engineering education for sustainable development.

(Aalborg, Denmark), KTH (Stockholm, Sweden), Leuphana University (Luneburg, Germany), University College Cork (Cork, Ireland), University of Limerick (Limerick, Ireland) and UPC-Barcelona Tech (Barcelona, Spain). 

The project aims to enhance engineering community competencies in sustainable development (SD) and progress educational innovation in EESD.
