Public Consultation on the Evaluation of the Waste Shipment Regulation

The European Commission has invited companies to provide their feedback on the Waste Shipment Regulation (WSR) in order to evaluate the legislation as a first step of the review of this regulation.

The questionnaire will be used to assess whether the WSR meets its objectives considering the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency and EU added value taking into account also EU waste legislation, the circular economy strategy, as well as other EU policies on raw materials, etc. The evaluation will include an investigation of costs and benefits associated with the implementation of the WSR for stakeholders.


The results of this consultation will be used to assess the WSR. Companies can contribute until April 27, by following this link.
