LUKOIL joins CSR Europe


LUKOIL is pleased to announce that it has joined CSR Europe as a corporate member to reinforce its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).


This comes at a time when CSR is becoming increasingly important for businesses in Europe. LUKOIL joins CSR Europe to further develop its corporate policies through active participation in the CSR Europe network of 11,000 companies.


Mr. Gleb Ovsyannikov, Head of Public Affairs at LUKOIL, said: “LUKOIL has been consistent in integrating the CSR dimension throughout its business model for years, and we are very proud that it brought us to a broader integration into the global and European business communities. We very much look forward to be part of the discussion on best CSR practices, as well as to exchange views and share our experience with such a high-level membership network at CSR Europe.”

LUKOIL upholds the principles of the UNGC and Social Chapter of Russian Business which is reflected in its activities that contribute to sustainable economic growth and social responsibility enhancement. Similarly, the company acknowledges the importance of the United Nations SDGs and the role that it can play to contribute in achieving them.
