Which are the current trends for climate and energy?

The European Political Strategy Centre presented its last report presenting the 10 trends that the EU will face in the coming future.

The study “10 Trends Reshaping Climate and Energy”, released on 3 December, analysed the main factors that are reshaping global and European markets, regulatory and policy frameworks, and technological progress on energy and climate. These trends are key players in the future of European capabilities to reach a carbon-neutral economy as well as a secure energy environment within the continent.

The analysis represents a good starting point for the debate that will take place at the COP 24, where the European Union is expected by many to take the lead and push for a stronger action against climate change.
