Takeda in the Top 100 Most Sustainable Corporation for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Takeda was named Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World for the fifth consecutive year by the Corporate Knights. Corporate Knights assesses more than 7,300 companies against 21 key performance indicators, to determine the top 1% most sustainable companies in the world.

The company also ranked 3rd among pharmaceutical companies for sustainable leadership and was recognized for environmental sustainability, equitable pricing strategies in low- and middle-income countries, and senior executive female representation.

In addition to the Global 100 ranking, Corporate Knights also identify the companies’ best practices.

Takeda distinguished itself in three areas:

  • Significant year-on-year improvement in energy, water and GHG productivity scores,
