Chinese industry shows sustainability leadership with ‘Rubber guidelines’

CSR Europe welcomes the ‘Chinese Industry Rubber Guidelines’ to be implemented on their ‘Sustainable Natural Rubber Platform’ with CCCM.

Last September, the China Chamber of Commerce for Metals, Minerals and Chemical Importers (CCCMC) and CSR Europe announced their cooperation on the sustainability supply chain in the raw materials sector.

On October 23, CCCM announced a new initiative: the publication of the Chinese Industry Rubber guidelines.

"We warmly welcome this extremely important document, as it is a major step to make the rubber supply chain more sustainable. It will guide and help us on our cooperation with CCCM’ said Stefan Crets, CSR Europe Executive Director.
