Third Sustainability & Innovation Conference: Connecting the future - ICT and the SDGs

Join us on October 12 at The Hotel in Brussels, for the third edition of the Sustainability & Innovation Conference Series, hosted by CSR Europe in cooperation with Huawei Technologies.

In order to shed light on the underlying connections and drivers between ICT and progress on the SDGs, Huawei has contributed the EU ICT Sustainable Development Goals Benchmark.

This benchmark and report aim to demonstrate the extent to which ICT investment can contribute to sustainable development and promote the achievement of the UN SDGs in EU countries.

Two years on from the commitments of COP21 and the launch of the SDGs, this conference will delve deeper into the findings of the report on the fundamental link between the UN Sustainable Development Goals and ICT. In the last two decades, we have seen incredible changes happen in the field of ICT and digitalisation.

The increased access to internet, Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity and social media, to name a few, have completely changed our lives and business as a whole.

There is huge potential for ICT to drive sustainability forward, and both businesses and national players have a crucial role to play in this. Join colleagues from business, civil society and government for half a day of discussions on how digitalisation can help drive forth the SDG agenda and contribute to a more sustainable and connected future.

Due to last year’s sold-out conference, we advise that you register now. There is no charge to attend this conference but priority is given to CSR Europe members.
