Take part in business and human rights training organised by FIBS (for companies in the food sector)
Do you know how your company impacts human rights, including in its supply chains?
Stakeholders of businesses from customers to financiers increasingly expect that companies manage their risks and minimise the negative effects on people within the scope of their activities. The responsibility to respect human rights extends to the company’s supply chain also in countries where the laws and practices relating to human rights are incomplete.
Knowing how your business impacts on human rights can result in competitive advantage and improved risk management in companies of all sizes.
The two-day training on these topics is organised for companies operating in the food sector. The aim of the training is to support companies in identifying development areas as well as best practices for better human rights management.
FIBS will deliver this training together with the Fair Trade Association.
The first day of training on April 28 will focus on the basics of business and human rights. The second day, June 2, will deepen the training of the first day.

Please note that the training will be delivered in Finnish.
